LOUISVILLE — Team went back to the locker room for about 10 minutes. I’m getting the idea that Wink actually may play a little. How much remains to be seen. But think he would have changed to street clothes for the game if he wasn’t playing.

LOUISVILLE — The big question concerning the injury status of star guard Wink Adams is still up in the air less than an hour from tipoff.

Wink is out warming up with his teammates and looks fine. But when I asked head coach Lon Kruger whether Adams was going to play, he still sounded undecided.

“Not sure,” he said. He later added: “We’ll have to see how he feels. It would be nice if he got a couple of minutes in. We’ll see.”

Adams has not practiced with the team since leaving the Dec. 23 win over Southern Utah with a lower abdominal strain and did not participate in the morning shoot-around today.
